Father Son Camp Out

Art

Even though it was a Father son camp out,
the rest of us were invited to have dinner
with them.

Just in case anything should happen

When Tim came home from work
the dog was so excited to see him that
she jumped right up on his lap

Pizza cooks great over a camp fire
it was delicious

Father son time
Hear, my son, and receive my sayings and the
years of your life will be many.
I have taught you
in the in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths.
When you walk,
your steps will not be hindered,
and when you run
you will not stumble.
~Proverbs 4:10-12~

Apples roasting over an open fire

The question of the day was, can water
boil in a paper cup, over a fire without
the cup burning?
The answer is yes. The water in the cup keeps
it from reaching combustion point. As the water
evaporates the cup burns.

Testing the water
it was actually bubbling a little

Labor Day

On labor day our family went to Harmony Farms
to go blueberry picking.

Tyler and Christine filling up their basket
with sweet blueberries

Enjoying the sunshine

Rows and rows of blueberries

Remembering the good old days

A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance
Proverbs 15:13

If you should ask, how
we like our blueberries best,
the reply will be, right off the bush

Tyler trying to catch blueberries
in his mouth

Now he's got Christine doing it

"Ouch it hit me in the head"

Success, after a few tries
and two blue eyes
she finally caught one

Wow, he's talking on the phone,
picking berries and eating them
at the same time; what talent
