Rebekah was a fast learner, and after song time
she played Come Thou Fount.

On the spot ensemble

All people on the earth do dwell,
Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice;
Him serve with fear, his praise forth-tell,
Come ye before him and rejoice.

The Lord ye know is God indeed;
Without our aid he did us make;
We are his folk, he doth us feed,
And for his sheep he doth us take.

O enter then his gates with praise,
Approach with joy his courts unto;
Praise, laud, and bless his name always,
For it is seemly so to do.

For why? the Lord our God is good,
His mercy is for ever sure;
His truth at all times firmly stood,
And shall from age to age endure.

~Psalms 100~

Mr. Fournier with the egg that he used to demonstrate
how you can tell if it is hard boiled or not just by spinning it.
~
At 8:30 we received a phone call from
the Fourniers and they stopped by for some supper
and fellowship.

Mom got three meals made for the week with the leftovers
while they were here.

Quote

"True thanksgiving means that we need to thank
God for what He has done for us, and not tell
Him what we have done for Him."
~George R. Hendrick~

Preparing for Thanksgiving

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations."
Psalms 100:4-5
